Welcome to Friday Morning Live
We are the 415 Advanced Television Production student staffers and Professor Dina Ibrahim at San Francisco State University, in the College of Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts. With all the cuts in higher education, we need your help not only to learn but also to win an Emmy for the work you help fund. We promise to drive the laughter that makes this production credit-worthy and the success that your funding deserves.
FML is a student-developed production knock-off of the Saturday Night Live genre now in pre-production. College campus life is the primary theme, explored by student writers through various aspects of life. Working with ideas of a school mascot, and using the president of San Francisco State University to explain budget cuts and college discretionary funding, this production will feature well-developed commercials that range from laughter to joy. This production is for audiences looking to release the stress of the day with comedy and fun, or just to have a good laugh. These episode outline start with a 6 minute Cold Open, followed by 5 minute skits such as "What's In My Sammie," "Ali The Tax Collector," who is the college mascot, "Weekend Update," news from all sources of course, and musical performances play in two separate sets in each episode. `Our production crew has its eyes on March 11th as the final cut for the writer's teams; the camera crew starts shooting one week later. Given the three episodes, a review for the last week of April 2025. Our budget is around $1,000. Our production crew's eyes are on March 11th as the final cut for the writer's teams; the camera crew starts shooting one week later. We have student actors, a props department, and a state-of-the-art facility at our college, equipped with the necessary tools to bring a production together. What we lack are the funds to buy additional items we will need for the FML production.
The students of Advanced Television Production are eager to please an audience with laughter and fun. Allowing oneself to escape from reality while creating memorable experiences to take into their daily lives. Our production team and writers want a student Emmy, so they are working tirelessly to excite their audience throughout this production of FML.
California State University CSU has cut much of the funding for student projects. Our project is only funded by the Professor, Students, and San Francisco State University provides the facility. Your funding would help us with all the additional costs, such as props, clothing, and technological devices.
